Poker is a card game played between two or more players. Each player has a set amount of “chips” that they place bets with. The objective of the game is to create a winning “hand” using your own two cards and the five community cards dealt out in a circle on the table (known as the “flop”). There are multiple rounds of betting, and the winner or winners are determined by showing off their cards at a showdown.
